Our Program
What makes Bright & Early different from other programs?
Autism is a developmental disorder, which means that it impacts all areas of an individual’s
development. Usually, when a child needs more than one type of therapy, their intervention is
separated across different professionals and settings. At Bright & Early, a full team of Specialists work together to ensure that your child is supported in all areas of their development.
Why Bright & Early?
*The ESDM Intervention model has extensive research evidence behind it
*The Program starts with a Multi-disciplinary Assessment.
*Your child's Intervention plan will be written based on these findings, and this plan will be explained to you.
*Your family will be allocated a Program Manager, who will be your main contact and coordinate your child's program
*The Program Manager will regularly supervise your child's Interventionists for ongoing quality assurance
*Bright & Early uses a curriculum that identifies specific development objectives, in a range of development areas including: expressive language, receptive language, social communication, fine motor, gross motor, cognition, and independence skills
* Data will be collected daily in your child's sessions and reviewed weekly by the Program Manager
*Program Manager will meet with your family once a month, on average to discuss progress and follow-up strategies
*At the end of the 4 month period, your child's overall progress will be outlined in a written report
*Program Manager will collaborate with other agencies and schools for a smooth transition out of the Program, when the time comes
